Timemaxx (operated by The Bridged) is meant to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, larger text, high contrast, or a keyboard instead of a pointer. We aim for the WCAG 2.2 level AA guidelines across the Android and iOS apps, the desktop app and this website. This page says what is in place, what we know is not perfect yet, and how to reach us.
What is in place
- Text follows your system font-size setting; layouts reflow rather than clip.
- Light and dark themes follow your device setting, with contrast checked against the AA ratio in our design system.
- Buttons and icon controls carry labels for screen readers; every action can be reached without a pointer on desktop and the web.
- Time alerts use sound, vibration and a full-screen visual together, so no single sense is required to notice one.
- Nothing flashes, auto-plays, or moves in a way that cannot be stopped.
Known limitations
- The full-screen alert has not yet been tested end to end with TalkBack; the fields are labelled, but the reading order may not match the visual order.
- The streak heatmap conveys intensity by colour; the same information is available as text on the day view, but not yet on the heatmap itself.
- The AI chat streams its reply word by word, which some screen readers announce repeatedly. A finished-reply announcement is planned.
Tell us
If something in Timemaxx does not work for you, email support@timemaxx.app with the device and assistive technology you use. We reply within five working days and treat these reports as bugs, not requests.
