Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 July 2026

Timemaxx is operated by The Bridged (“Timemaxx”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the Timemaxx mobile and web apps collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information — your email address and display name, used to create and secure your account.
  • Content you create — the time intervals you log, activity items, notes, and journal entries you write in the app.
  • Settings — your interval length, active hours, and preferences.
  • Usage & diagnostics — anonymised product-analytics events (which screens are used, feature interactions) and crash/error diagnostics, used to keep the app working and improve it.
  • Subscription status — whether you have an active trial or subscription. Payments themselves are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not by us; we do not receive or store your card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide the core service — logging your time, streaks, and reminders.
  • Generate your AI journal responses (see section 3).
  • Send the interval alerts and notifications you enable.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
  • Understand aggregate usage so we can improve the app.

3. AI Features

The AI journal responds to your time data. When you use it, the relevant logged data (recent intervals, streak/stats, journal history, and your settings) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes it to generate a reply. Anthropic processes this data on our behalf and, under its API terms, does not use it to train its models. We do not use your content to train any AI model.

4. Who We Share Data With

We share data only with the service providers that operate the app, each acting as our processor under contract:

  • Clerk — authentication and account management
  • Supabase — secure storage of your account and content
  • Anthropic — AI journal responses (see section 3)
  • PostHog — product analytics
  • Sentry — crash and error diagnostics
  • RevenueCat, Google Play, and the Apple App Store — subscription management

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Device Permissions

With your consent, the app uses notification and (on Android) exact-alarm permissions solely to deliver your interval alerts at the times you choose. You can revoke these in your device settings at any time; the app will continue to work, but alerts may be delayed or silent.

6. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and content are deleted from our systems, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.

7. Your Rights

Under UK data-protection law you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account and data in the app, or contact us at support@timemaxx.app to exercise any of these rights. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

8. International Transfers

Some of our providers are located outside the UK/EEA (for example, in the United States). Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

9. Children

Timemaxx is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
